Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SILITEH Sp. z o.o. (“SILITEH”, “we”) processes personal data when you use this website, send us an inquiry or subscribe to our news. It applies to this website only.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is SILITEH Sp. z o.o., ul. Przemysłowa 12, 05-800 Pruszków, Poland. You can reach us at [email protected] or +48 123 456 789.
2. What we process, why, and on what basis
Inquiry forms
- Data: name, e-mail address and message (required); company, job title and telephone number (optional); files you choose to attach, such as specifications or drawings; the address of the page from which you wrote.
- Purpose: to answer your inquiry, prepare an offer and take the steps you ask for before a contract is concluded.
- Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries and communicating with business partners).
Attach only files you are entitled to share. We use them solely to prepare our response.
News subscription
- Data: your e-mail address.
- Purpose: to send you the SILITEH news you asked for.
- Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
Protection of the website and its forms
- Data: a technical identifier derived from your IP address, used to limit the number of form submissions per hour, and technical server logs (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and device information).
- Purpose: to keep the website secure and stable and to protect the forms against abuse.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set cookies on visitors’ devices. It uses no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools, and it loads its fonts, scripts and images from its own server rather than from third parties. Only people who sign in to the site’s administration panel receive the technical cookies that signing in requires.
If this changes — for example, if we add analytics — we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
4. Who receives your data
- our employees and associates who handle inquiries;
- providers that support the website on our behalf, such as hosting, e-mail delivery and IT support, bound by data processing agreements;
- professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data. If a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we transfer data only on a basis provided by Chapter V GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Inquiries: for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any business relationship that follows, and afterwards for the period in which claims may be brought or the law requires us to keep records. You can ask us to delete an inquiry earlier.
- News subscription: until you withdraw your consent.
- Form submission limit: one hour.
- Server logs: for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format where that applies, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To use these rights, write to [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
7. Providing data and automated decisions
Providing the required form fields is voluntary, but without them we cannot answer your inquiry. We do not take decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile visitors.
8. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. Inquiries are stored privately and are available only to authorised staff, and the forms are protected against automated abuse.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
